I will simply lay out the facts and tell you what I found about Navan Global, so that you can make the right decision. After reading this review, you will know exactly what to expect.

Let’s begin.

Navan Global Review Summary

Company: Navan Global Is Navan Global A Scam - logo

Price to join: $299.95 to $999.95

Business model: Multi-Level Marketing

Do I recommend it? NO

Overall rating :  5/10

Summary: Navan Global is an MLM company in the CBD industry. Compared to other MLMs, this company seems legit, but it’s still not worth joining.

The owner is not disclosed and there are some issues in the compensation plan that make it hard to be profitable. Like most MLM companies, Navan Global is really expensive to join and you are most likely to lose money with it.

In other words, I don’t think Navan Global is worth your time and money.

What Is Navan Global About?

Navan Global is an MLM company that focuses on selling CBD products.

The first thing that I noticed when I looked at their website was that the owner is not disclosed. There wasn’t a lot of background information about the company either.

The say that after being in the industry for 12 years, they got tired of seeing people, who were trying to improve their lives, but ended up being taken advantage of. They tried to find a legitimate company that delivers and after they couldn’t find one, they decided to start Navan Global.

Other than that, there is not much information about them or who runs the company.

After doing some research, I found a video from February, 2020, that reveals that the CEO of the company is Trey Knight. Below is the video if you are interested in watching it:

In the past he has been involved in a lawsuit with a company called Hi-Tech Marketing. In 2013 FTC announced the company as a pyramid scheme and shut it down.

After that, in 2011, Trey got involved in another company called Limu. Then he became the president of Sozo Global, that was later sold to Youngevity.

Between 2016 and 2019 Tray took a break from his network marketing companies (at least according to the information that I could find). A short while after that Navan Global was created.

That was everything that I could find about the company and its CEO. In my opinion this information should be available to everyone visiting Navan Global’s website.

From my experience of reviewing different home-based business opportunities, if a company is not fully transparent about its background and founder, then it almost always turns out to be a scam.

But I will not judge too quickly. Instead let’s take a look at Navan Global’s product line…

Navan Global Products

As mentioned earlier Navan Global specializes in CBD and wellness products. According to their homepage, they work only with organic ingredients.

Is Navan Global A Scam - products

Since I haven’t tried to products myself, I can’t tell whether that is true or not. But from the reviews that I saw, people seem to like the products.

Below you can see some of the products accompanied with a brief description about the benefits.

  • Daily Detox Plus ($83.95) – removes toxins from the body
  • Dream ($59.95) – promotes better night sleep
  • CBD tincture ($95) – helps to balance the body and the mind
  • Relieve ($83.95) – cream for inflammation that has high concentration of CBD, vitamin B6, MSM, and Arnica.
  • Restore ($71.95) – 92 minerals
  • Bath bombs ($90.59) – reduces stress and anxiety
  • CBD Gummies ($75.95) benefits your overall health
  • Regen x ($110) – helps the body produce more HGH naturally.
  • Renew ($79.95) – moisturizing lotion

As you can see they have everything from CBD oils and gummies to detoxes and bath bombs. All the product reviews that I saw was positive, which is a good sign.

One thing that I noticed was that their products are too expensive. There are many CBD oil companies and adding a $25 extra, won’t help you in this industry. People will simply prefer to buy from cheaper companies, which may result in difficulties selling.

Here is another MLM company in the health and wellness niche, called PureTrum.

How Do You Make Money With Navan Global?

There are two ways you can make money with Navan Global.

  1. The first one is by selling their products. Each time someone buys, you will earn a commission.
  2. The second one is by recruiting people and building a downline. You then earn money based on the sales that your referrals make.

Is Navan Global A Pyramid Scheme?

No! Unlike most other MLMs, Navan Global doesn’t seem like a pyramid scheme to me. They do have real products to offer and recruitment is not mandatory.

Below you can see what a real pyramid scheme looks like.

Is Navan Global a Scam - pyramid scheme

Pyramid schemes are illegal, because only the one at the top makes money on the expense of those at the bottom.

With a pyramid scheme, there is no real product and the only way you can make money is by recruiting new members. Therefore there are 2 ways Navan Global can become a pyramid scheme.

  1. The first one is if the company doesn’t sell their products and all their income comes from recruitment.
  2. The second way Navan Global can become a pyramid scheme is if most of the sales come from people who join as distributors and not as retail customers.

Unlike Tradera, which is another MLM company requiring that at least 55% of your referrals should be retail customers, Navan Global is not protected from becoming a pyramid scheme.

Even though Navan Global is not a pyramid scheme, it is worth to mention that just because a company has a product, doesn’t mean that they are legitimate.

There are companies, like PureTrim, that make people buy unnecessary products just to qualify for the compensation plan and keep their membership alive.

How Much Does It Cost To Join Navan Global ?

Joining Navan Global is quite expensive investment. Depending on the package you choose, it will cost you anything from $299.95 to $999.95. Below are the three packages that Navan Global offers:

  • Starter Packs ($299.95)
  • Business Builder Pack ($499.95)
  • Ultimate Builder ($999.95)

But that’s not all. Running an MLM business involves other costs as well. If you are planning on joining Navan Global, you should have at least a couple thousand dollars in savings.

Navan Global Compensation Plan

Navan Global’s compensation plan is pretty difficult to understand if you are not familiar with MLMs. That’s why I will summarize the most important parts of it below.

Affiliate Ranks

Navan Global has 14 affiliate ranks. You go on to a higher level when you hit a certain goal. Below you will find an image with more detail:

Is Navan Global A Scam - compensation plan

I know this might look complicated, but the main thing to pay attention to is the third column called OV, which stands for Orinizational Volume. In simple words, these are the number of sales that your downline generates.

So if your team sells 200,000 OV, you’ll reach the Double Diamond rank and make $25,000 per month.

Even though this seems like a great opportunity, keep in mind that most people will hardly make it to the fist rank or two.

Residual Commissions

Everyone at the same rank earn the same income per month, which is not good in my opinion. Imagine you are only $1 away from the higher rank and you would till earn commissions for the lower rank. It’s just unfair.

But anyways, below you can see the monthly income for the different ranks:

  1. Managers – Earn $100 Monthly
  2. Directors – Earn $250 Monthly
  3. Executives – Earn $750 Monthly
  4. Sapphires – Earn $1700 Monthly
  5. Rubys – Earn $4000 Monthly
  6. Emeralds – Earn $8000 Monthly
  7. Diamonds – Earn $15,000 Monthly
  8. Double Diamonds – Earn $25,000 Monthly
  9. Black Diamonds- Earn $45,000 Monthly
  10. Royal Black Diamonds – Earn $65,000 Monthly
  11. Crown Blue Diamonds- Earn $90,000 Monthly
  12. Double Crown Blue Diamonds – Earn $120,000 Monthly
  13. Triple Crown Blue Diamonds – Earn $160,000 Monthly
  14. Presidential Diamonds – Earn $220,000 Monthly

Retail Commissions

You can earn 20% commissions for selling their products to retail customers.

Rank Achievement Bonus

Based on your rank, you will receive bonuses when you move up to a higher rank. Below you can see how much each upranking earns.

  • Manager – $100 bonus (have to reach this rank in 30 days)
  • Director – $300 bonus (have to reach this rank in 60 days)
  • Executive – $1000 bonus
  • Sapphire – $2000 bonus
  • Ruby – $4000 bonus
  • Emerald – $8000 bonus
  • Diamond – $15,000 bonus
  • Double Diamond – $25,000 bonus
  • Black Diamond – $45,000 bonus
  • Royal Black Diamond – $65,000 bonus
  • Crown Blue Diamond – $80,000 bonus
  • Double Crown Blue Diamond – $100,000 bonus
  • Triple Crown Blue diamond – $130,000 bonus
  • Presidential Diamond – $200,000 bonus

Can You Really Make Money With Navan Global?

Based on my research it is technically possible to make money with Navan Global, but success will be rare here. There are some red flags that I will discuss later, but for now let me tell you why I think the business model itself isn’t profitable.

I am not a fan of MLMs, even if some of them are legitimate. My website is all about reviewing different business opportunities and teaching people about affiliate marketing, which I believe is the best business model.

I know you came here to learn whether Navan Global is a scam, but I think now is a good time to mention why MLMs are not good business opportunities in my opinion.

Feel free to skip this section if you are not interested. But if you want to learn about a better business model, keep reading.

Why It Is Hard To Succeed With MLMs

It’s a fact that more than 99% of people who join an MLM company, end up losing money. People underestimate how hard it is to make money by recruiting people and selling MLM products.

The image below shows some pretty shocking stats about MLMs:

Is Navan Global A Scam - MLM stats

Navan Global Pros And Cons

No autoshipment: Autoshipment is when a company obligates distributors to buy products just to keep their membership alive. Navan Global does not require anything from their distributors other than selling products and recruiting.

Products are too expensive: People don’t like to overpay. There are many CBD oil companies with similar products at a lower price. Retail sales will be difficult with Navan Global.

Saturated market: It’s hard to be profitable in such a saturated market. There are so many CBD oil companies and it will be difficult for you to stand out especially if you are a beginner. Other than that, Navan Global is a new company, which means that not many people know about it and would prefer to buy from other trusted companies.

Commissions are capped: The commissions you earn depend on the rank you are at. This means that even if you are $1 below the higher rank, you will still only earn the commissions for the lower rank. This is unfair. In my opinion, people should earn based on the revenue that they generate for the company.

Lack of information about the creator(s): Navan Global does not provide any background information about the company. The owner is not disclosed either. They do mention in a blog post that the CEO is Trey Knight, but the lack of transparency makes the company seem like a scam.

Is Navan Global a Scam?

No. I don’t think Navan Global is a scam. They seem like a legitimate company and have real products. On the other side, they do not disclose who the owner is and the compensation plan needs improvements in my opinion.

The main problem with Navan Global is that their products are overpriced and the industry that they are in is really saturated. No one will pay for an overpriced product from a brand new company. People are more likely to buy reasonably priced products from trusted companies.

Retail sales will be hard, but recruiting will be even harder. Unless you already have a network or an audience to sell to, you are most likely to lose money.

Here’s A Better Opportunity

If you are still reading, that tells me that you are serious about making money. Unlike most people, you are not looking for quick solutions. Instead you are focusing on the long term success and I congratulate you for that.

What I have found to be the best business model, is affiliate marketing. Here are 3 reasons why I prefer affiliate marketing over other business models:

  1. You don’t have to create or own a product
  2. You don’t need to recruit people or do face to face selling
  3. You can start earning a full-time income in less than a year (if you are committed)!

What’s even better is that affiliate marketing allows you to build your business around your passion.

I encourage you to take a look at Wealthy Affiliate, which is an online platform teaching affiliate marketing to complete beginners.

Wealthy Affiliate will walk you through the step-by-step process of building a successful online business around your passion. They will provide you with training, tools and all the support you need.

  1. With the amount of moneys you have to pay along with the founder not been known should raise a red flag about this platform. MLM has gotten a bad name over the years because of their dishonesty.

  2. There are many good CBD products out there, but unfortunately there are companies like these that are not into full disclosure. When a company does not indicated its owner (s) that is an immediate red flag to me to stay away. Based on the gentleman’s past record, this is not the type of organization with which I would want to be affiliated. Based on all of this, I would venture to guess that the products are not as of high quality as they are promoted to be. Thanks for the information on this company.
