The Referral Pay website claims that you can make $500 per day just by using your social media influence. Is it true or is Referral Pay a scam?
They say all it takes to make these large amounts of money is to complete small tasks and share links on social media. I think we all know that this sounds too good to be true, but it is always worth it to do your research before joining a company that may be a scam.
I took a closer look at Referral Pay and in this Referral Pay review, I will tell you whether it is worth joining and if you can make money with it.
Referral Pay Review
What Is Referral Pay?
Referral Pay is an influence network that claims to give you the opportunity to make money online by using your social media influence. The way it is supposed to work is that they give you a link and every time someone creates a registration, you will make money.
Referral Pay was founded in 2015 and according to them, their main goal is to help people take advantage of their social media usage and turn it into money. They claim to have paid over $68M to over 225,000 of its members.
You may wonder, ”If the sign up is free, where do they take the money from?”.
They say the money comes from ads on their website. But guess what? They don’t even use ads… And even if they did, the money wouldn’t be enough to cover the expenses.
So you can already notice that something is up with this company.
Let’s not judge to quickly and further investigate this company.
How Does Referral Pay Work?
You will also receive a bonus of $25 in your personal balance once you create your account.
The three main ways to make money with Referral Pay are:
- Referring people to Referral Pay
- Doing tasks
- Making YouTube videos
Once you create your Referral Pay registration you will get a referral link that you will use to invite people into the company. For every click you will get $2 and for every click that leads to people joining, you will earn an additional $10.
You can also make money by doing tasks related to their sponsors’ products. You can earn up to $30 and get some kind of reward. Note that you will have to give your phone number away, which I don’t recommend.
Making YouTube videos
You can also make YouTube videos. For every video that you upload, you will earn $50.
In order to get paid, you will have to get at least 20 clicks, 5 referrals and complete 4 tasks. you can get paid via PayPal, Cash App, Bitcoin, and mailed checks.
You may think that it will be easy to achieve those goals and get paid, but let me tell you one thing. You may easily achieve 20 clicks and achieving 4 tasks, but it will be hard to get 5 referrals. And even if you do, there is no guarantee that you will receive the money.
They don’t mention anywhere on their homepage how long it will take to send you the money. Other than that, there is no information about the owner or any contact information. So there is no one you can contact to get your money back.
The system is set up with a really high withdrawal limit, so that you will be able to recruit more and more people until you finally realize Referral Pay is a scam. At the end you will have lost your time and the company will have gained all those people’s personal information.
Even if you manage to hit the withdraw limit, you will find out the hard way that the company don’t even pay.
The Ugly Truth Behind Referral Pay 🙅🏽♀️
By now, you should have realized that Referral Pay is a scam, but it is also a data-harvesting scam. This means that they are collecting your personal information to sell it or even steal your identity.
When you sign up for the Referral Pay you will be asked to fill in your email, username and choose a password. The scammers behind referral pay are hoping that you will use the same login details as you do on other websites. They will then try to hack your other accounts, such as Facebook, PayPal and even bank accounts.
If you have created a Referral Pay registration with the same login details that you use somewhere else, then you need to change them ASAP.
And if you have already shared your Referral Pay link, I highly encourage you to share this review with them as a warning about the Referral Pay scam.
Is Referral Pay a Scam?
Yes! Referral Pay is a scam. I think by now this has become pretty clear.
Referral Pay has no intention of actually paying out their members. They are only after people’s personal data.
Whenever you hear that a website promises large amounts of money in exchange for nothing, it should be a clear sign that the company isn’t legit.
Referral Pay is free to join, which makes people think that they have nothing to loose. But after doing my research, I can say that the company only exists to collect your personal information and sell it.
You won’t receive anything even if you hit the withdraw limit.
