What Is Social Media Lead Machine? Scam or Legit?

Share with

You have probably seen Blake Nubar’s Facebook ads about his latest done-for-you system, called Social Media Lead Machine. What Is Social Media Lead Machine and is it a scam or legit?

In this Social Media Lead Machine review I will walk you through what the product is, how it works, what’s included and some of the common misconceptions associated with it.

By the time you are done reading this review, you will know whether the Social Media Lead Machine is right for you.

Let’s begin!

What Is Social Media Lead Machine?

Social Media Lead Machine is a ”done-for-you” program that is supposed to turn your Facebook account into a powerful sales funnel that runs on autopilot. In other words, you will be able to get leads and sales from your Facebook profile.

After you have applied the strategies inside the course, your Facebook profile will look more like an opt-in page than a regular Facebook account.

The man who stands behind the Social Media Lead Machine is Blake Nubar. He holds the record for the fastest 2 Comma Club Funnel and is featured by Click Funnels. He managed to make a million dollars from a single funnel in just 43 days.

So judging by the founder, the Social Media Lead Machine should be high quality. But is that true? Let’s take a closer look inside the program.

Inside Social Media Lead Machine

The front end product is a blueprint that costs $7. It is basically a 84 pages long PDF that takes you through the whole process of getting leads. The image below shows how the blueprint is structured:

What Is Social Media Lead Machine?

The blueprint is very detailed and provides lot of value. The only problem is that the blueprint alone won’t generate you any money. Blake mentions several tools and resources that you will need in order to implement the strategies. If you don’t have these tools, the blueprint is pretty much useless.

The whole point of this blueprint is to get you to buy the more expensive product for $297. Blake is a great marketer and knows that once you take out your credit card and buy something (even if it’s just $7), you are much more likely to buy the product he actually wants you to buy.

So if you are a beginner, don’t think that the blueprint is enough. You will have to buy his full course for $297 to get any results.

On the other hand, if you are an experienced marketer that knows how to set up funnels, this blueprint will be the perfect guide for you.

Once you purchase the Social Media Lead Machine ($297), you will get these 3 bonuses:

  • Evergreen Messenger Chatbot
  • Underground Split Test Secrets (10x Your Results)
  • Supercharge your Funnel with Powerful Add-Ons

The Biggest Misconception People Have

The $7 Blueprint is all you need —> Wrong!

A common misconception that beginners have is that the $7 dollars PDF is the actual product that will turn their Facebook profile into revenue. The truth is that what you get for your $7 is just an infomercial that is trying to sell you the actual product, which is The Social Media Lead Machine, for $297.

Don’t get me wrong. The PDF is full of useful information, but the problem is that you will not get the resources necessary to apply the Facebook strategy that Blake is talking about. It is more like a guide that explains how the $297 product works and the benefits you will get.

This is not something that Blake tries to hide, but if you are a beginner you may be misled to think that the actual Social Media Lead Machine costs $7, which is not true.

Why I Am Not A Fan Of The Social Media Lead Machine

Personally I am not a fan of turning your personal Facebook account into a sales funnels. I mean, your profile is full of family photos, vacations, memes, etc and all of a sudden it turns into an opt-in page? This sounds a bit bizarre to me. You will probably start getting lots of messages from your friends and family about what happened to your account 😀

Another thing that really stood out to me was the image below👇

What Is Social Media Lead Machine?

The claims that it makes look scammy to me. I mean, if you are just starting out, you are very unlikely to make $25,000 in the first 9 days. You are very unlikely to make that amount of money even after a few months!

The other claim about having it all set up and running in the next 90 minutes is unrealistic. It’s just a marketing strategy that leads beginners to believe that they can reach success with just 90 minutes of work.

If you are a beginner, don’t think that you can just set the system up, forget it & come after 9 days and make $25,000. It’s just not going to happen. There is a lot more work involved.

The good thing is that there is a 14 days money back guarantee. I have heard that some people have had problems getting their money back, but assuming that Blake is a legitimate internet marketer, you shouldn’t have any problems.

There are a lot of testimonials telling about their successes with the program, but they should always be taken with a grain of salt.

Is The Social Media Lead Machine A Scam?

No, the Social Media Lead Machine is not a scam. It is a legitimate course, created by a professional marketer, that will teach you how to get leads from Facebook.

The only thing I don’t like about the product is the misleading claims. People are led to believe that they will make $25,000 in the first 9 days with just 90 minutes of work. It’s just a very unrealistic hype that most beginners fall for.

Also, I am not a fan of turning your personal profile into a sales funnel. You may do Facebook marketing with ads or create a group, but I wouldn’t suggest you turn your Facebook profile into an opt-in page. It will just turn people away.

Again, this is just my opinion and you are free to do whatever you want. The course is legit, but I believe there are better ways to get leads and make money online.

Here Is What I Recommend

If you are looking for a way to make money online, but don’t want to scare your Facebook friends away, I highly recommend you look into affiliate marketing.

It is a much better business model than turning your personal Facebook profile into an opt-in page. Affiliate marketing is all about earning commissions by promoting other people’s products or services.

  1. I am not crazy about turning my personal FB profile page into a sales funnel either. I would rather use a Facebook business page for that. The claim of making $25,000 in just 9 days is a little out there, and although the social lead machine is legit, this claim makes it sound as if it’s not … I would like to learn how to use Facebook ads, but I think that I would not buy the PDF for facebook funnels. I still need to learn about funnels and I would prefer to use my website for that.

    • That’s a great decision. I encourage you to start working on a Facebook business page, though. It is a great source of traffic for your website and it will help with your rankings as well. 😉

  2. While Social Media Lead Machine is not a scam, I still can’t swallow those get-rich-quick claims from the sales page. I wouldn’t say I like the way this product is sold. They drag you in with unrealistic claims and $7 price tag. But they never say that you need to purchase upgrades to complete the course and get some real value from it.

I’ve spent $100’s on courses like Social Media Lead Machine and have gotten $0 back in profits. I’m not saying that the content is not legitimate. But it’s the lack of transparency that creates a wrong kind of expectations and then leaves you on dry land once you realize that you need to invest more to get more information.

There are amazing free courses that come with Premium memberships, and one of them is your recommendation, Wealthy Affiliate. These guys are the only platform on the net that I’ve found to be completely transparent and honest about their business and expectations. There are no get-rich-quick promises, no hype, nothing that could give you a wrong idea about making money online, which is why they’re the best!

Thanks for sharing this review. You’ve helped me to avoid time and money waster. I don’t think that Facebook is that “hot” anymore when it comes to lead generation and I don’t think this course is the one for me.

    • Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this course. Yes, I am sick of these get rich quick claims too. There is no way for a complete beginner to achieve the goals that Blake claims, unless they have the right tools and extra coaching.

This course is legit, but it is marketed in a scammy way. It’s not a course that I recommend. So far, the only legitimate program that I recommend is Wealthy Affiliate. It has everything you need in one place (training, tools and support).

Before you buy Blake’s course, take a look at Wealthy Affiliate by creating your free account here. You will be surprised by the value you will get just from the free lessons.

  3. Hi, just curious to know. Is the recommendation for you to turn you personal FB profile into a sales funnel or to turn your FB business pages into sales funnels?

I personally do not think that there is a lot of traction from FB anymore like there used to be, unless you are willing to pay for FB ads. Not sure if in his course he also recommends to pay for FB ads?

    • That’s a great question. It is true that FB has become saturated, but there is still a huge potential to make money there. I don’t advice you turn your personal profile into a sales funnel. However, I do recommend you create a facebook page in your niche and start to build an audience there. Facebook ads are great if you know how to use them. But if you don’t, you can still build your audience organically. It may take you longer, but the people who you attract to your group/page will be highly targeted and engaged with your content. Also keep in mind that so far you can’t promote a FB group with ads. So if you want to use FB ads, go with a FB page. But if you want to build your audience organically, go for a FB group. You will have a lot more interaction there. The best way is to create both and link them to each other. For more information on how to do it, check this video.

  4. Delyana,

Ugh. I HATE programs like this that provide nothing real upfront and then upsell a pricey product with promises of that fast payday for no real work.

I know you don’t classify this as a scam, but at the least, it’s pretty scammy. The simple graphic you uploaded from the program shows as much about their product as anyone really needs to know. It takes work, you have to come up with your Lead Magnet, then write a ton of copy for all the supporting pages on Facebook and your website. Then you need to optimize everything and continue to monitor and update and optimize further. Oh, and let’s not forget about all the emails you’ll need to create to convert those users who don’t jump right off the bat.

I find it funny that so many of these programs could simply use this to describe what they are promising.

Thanks for keeping them honest, whether they like it or not.

    • Thank you so much for this comment. It shows what it really takes to build a profitable Facebook business. It’s not a easy as Blake make it seem. It will definitely take more than 9 days and 90 minutes of work. As you say you need to learn how to write good copy, emails and run ad campaigns. Again, nothing wrong with the course itself, but the marketing is scammy.

  5. Thanks for your honest review. My line of thinking is, “If it sounds too good to be true, it is”. That being said, I too don’t wish to turn my personal FB page into a sales funnel. My friends would be turned off. Also, I wouldn’t buy a product that costs $297. That price seems over the top. I’m glad your review is candid.

  6. I haven’t heard about Social media lead machine until I came across your review. I’m glad I did as it exposes the truth. I cannot imagine turning my Facebook profile into an sales funnel as it’s totally wrong. I can imagine many newbies falling for their false claims though, and believing they can make huge profits in 9 days! I’d definitely give this one a miss!

  7. I believe that these programs should be open and honest and not be misleading which I think wrong. This program my have some value but I dont think you should count on this to make a full time income.

  8. I agree that I would not want to use my personal Facebook page as an opt-in page either. Although this product has its merits, and there is valid and useful information contained within the system, it does not appeal to me at all. Thanks so much for revealing this system. All the Best.

    • Yes, I agree with you. The product has its pros, but there is just something about it that makes me think it’s not a good investment of my money. It’s probably the scammy marketing strategy. I mean, the claims are just not realistic, which is misleading to beginners.

  9. Hi Delyana,

An 84-page long PDF file, I doubt how many of us could read that from the 1st page to the last. And, it uses a misleading marketing tactic to lure people believe that they can make lots of money at $7, but they sell your upsells after paying your hard-earned money, which I don’t like very much. So, I’m glad that I read your article before making the purchase.

    Thanks for sharing today,

    • Thanks for your comment. I am glad my Social Media Lead Machine review was helpful. Yeah, Blake makes it seem like the blueprint is enough for a complete beginner to start making money, but the truth is that you will need paid tools to implement Blake’s strategy. That’s why you will have to buy his upsell as well. Again, the product is legit, but it’s marketed in a scammy way.

  10. I actually bought Blake’s Social Media Lead Machine and was quite impressed with the content inside.

I know that there are many claims that this program doesn’t work, but I’m afraid I entirely have to disagree with all of them.

It does work, but you will need to put in some effort if you wish to see results.

I get what you’re saying, Delyana. I got many messages from friends asking me why my FB profile looks like that, and it was annoying me at first, but I got over it.

The only reason why I would say that this product is a scam is that it’s marketed in a wrong way that’s overpromising, but that’s probably the only way to do it, so it appears appealing to a complete newbie.

    PS: It’s not automated! (duh!)

    • Thank you so much for sharing your experience with Blake’s Social Media Lead Machine. It’s definitely not a scam, but the way it is marketed is scammy. These claims are misleading to beginners. I am glad you pointed out that it’s not automated as the founder claims. So in a nutshell, the product is legit, but it is presented in a misleading way.
